I became a caregiver simply because I love children and I believe they make our world a better place! I've been a babysitter off and on since 2007. I was a caregiver and cared for, fed, played with, and took care of as many as 5 children at a time when I was the head of our Children's Ministry at my former church for three years until I decided to start my education. It was wonderful experience and prepared me very well! I have twin nephews, one of whom is autistic. They are two years old and I've been actively babysitting and caring for them since they were three weeks old. I'm familiar with autism and would be willing to care for a child struggling with this. I am very accomodating to all ages and needs for children, as both my nephews are very different and throughout their two years, Read more have a wide-range of needs and two very different personalities! I am open-minded when it comes to childcare philosophy, seeing as every child is unique, but I do, of course, use common sense when it comes to my caregiving style. I believe, first and foremost, the child and the parent(s) should be completely at ease and comfortable with my style of caregiving! I am an open book, so feel free to ask me anything you would like about me! I am a student, I am the youngest (I have one older sister) in my family and was born and raised in Central Texas. I am about to finish my Associate's Degree in English at Temple College. I plan to become an English teacher and get my Bachelor's at Central Texas A&M in Killeen. I love babysitting, watching movies, writing, reading, art, swimming, hanging out with my friends and family, going to church, and spending time with my nephews!
