I am a philosophy and psychology dual major at the University of Texas, my academic background is based around analytic philosophy but includes fields from developmental psychology to political economy. My previous work experience include being a lifeguard, lifeguard instructor, assistant lifeguard manager and a swim instructor. Because of my past work I have extensive experience in CPR, First Aid, AED operation, water rescue and teaching. I am currently certified to teach and certify people to become lifeguards— this certification extends to being able to certify people in other basic life saving skills such as CPR (LGI certification through the Red Cross). I have taught hundreds of people these life saving skills as well as tutoring people in subjects such as formal logic and philosophy. My previous work experience makes me exceptionally attuned to babysitting work as an emphasis was placed on forming meaningful relationships with patrons and kids. Over Read more the course of years I filled many roles, acting as a role model, a friend, and guardian to kids of all ages and backgrounds. I wish to enter the babysitting field to form more of these personal fulfilling relationships that can help give kids what they need to succede, as well as have fun and enjoy life.
