Hello everyone. My name is Chanterika Taylor (SHAN for short). :) . I attend the University of Houston as a Sociology major. I want to pursue a career as a Case Worker/ Social Worker. I graduated high school in 2011. During my entire high school career, I was in a program called FCCLA (Family , Career, and Community Leaders of America). While in that program, I learned how to properly care for newborns, infants, & toddler. I was also able to volunteer at different daycares & schools to have a personal interaction with children & I LOVED everything about it. In addition, I am also the oldest sibling of 8 so I have had a lot of practice with caring for children. This is what led me to pursue a career that involves children. I have also been a caregiver for residents with Alzheimer's.
