My name is Suzan Lyons Owens, I am a 59, yr old African American female with 2 adult children ages 41(female)and 34 (son) a total of 5 grandchildren, ages 22, 20, 13, 12, and 4 and 2 great grandsons ages 2 and 6 months (25 lbs). I have worked in the administration as Clerk typist 10 yrs, Graduate from VRJC school of nursing in August 1986 but did not pass the nursing state boards twice, missing passing score by 5 points both times. I've also have 15+ years working in the healthcare field with 12 of those yrs at the North Texas State Hospital on Child/adolescent unit. I do know CPR for Adults and for infants and children as it was required while working on that particular unit. I will have to get recertified because it wasn't required in my last 2 position which was working as a facilitator at Read more Workforce Solutions North Texas for 9 yrs and 2years as a License Insurance Agent for Reliable Home Service Life insurance Agency. I also worked part-time as a home health aide since 3/2007. I have worked extensively with asthmatic children and children with Autism as my son and grandsons are severe asthmatics and 1grandson is slightly autistic with a hearing disability since birth and the oldest 22 has a behavioral disability which he was in denial about it until 1 year ago. I also love children, I love to read to children watching their expressions as I read to them, going into their animated world with them as I read to them. It is so wonderful to see and watch, making sure they understand what u are reading to them.
