Hi, my name is Bethany Farr! I am 19 years old and I am a sophomore at Utah State University. Starting at the age of 12, I started babysitting for kids in my neighborhood. I love kids! I have a niece who is one years old and I love being able to spend time with her! Starting my junior year in Highschool, I nannied for a 12 year old girl. I worked there for 2 1/2 years. I would pick her up from school, run errands, clean their home, make crafts, and help with homework. I learned so much from this experience, and it taught me how to work hard and to balance multiple responsibilities at once. This past year at school, I got involved with Pals, which is an organization to be a mentor and friend to kids in Logan Utah. I was on the committee as the Public Read more Relations member, and each week we would get together and plan activities for the kids and Mentors. I also had a Pal, so each week me and her would do an activity such as going to get ice cream or painting our nails. This next year, I am the director for Big Brothers Big Sisters, which is similar to pals, organized to help kids in Logan, Utah. I have had a lot of experience with helping and watching kids. This summer I worked at Youth City, a summer program for kids. I taught classes such as cooking, volleyball, fashion, arts/crafts, reading, etc. I am friendly, outgoing, responsible, hardworking, and personable.
