I have 3 kids. My daughter Josie is 8 in 3rd grade, my son Todd is 5 in kindergarten, and my daughter Malina is 2 she stays home with me. Of course most of my experience comes from them, but I have also done child care off and on throughout the last 10 years. I've watched 6 week old babies and older. I don't fill my house with kids like a daycare, I like to have 1 or 2 at a time that we can play with, have quiet time and naps with, and just enjoy and be friends. My children are very friendly and love having other children over to entertain them. We have any toy your child could want, we do lots of reading, games, and experiments, and of course we play outside every chance we get. It's been a while since I've done any official certifications but I am current on things like first aid. I successfully gave my 5 year old the Heimlich a few months ago, darn cough drop! Though I only speak English, I have watched children whose first languages were Spanish and Mandarin, and we got along great. I have a very flexible schedule so if your hours and days change weekly, then we may be a good fit. I like to follow the traditional school schedule and not do child care when my kids are out of school, but I've made exceptions. I'm just minutes off of I-15 a few blocks from the Bountiful Library (love storytime!). Meals and snacks are included in my fees.
