I grew up on a dairy farm in Idaho, where I learned to work hard and developed love and devotion for people and living things. Growing up my mom taught me how to cook and be a homemaker. Having 6 kids in my family gave me lots of opportunities to be a babysitter and caregiver for my younger siblings. I was also the town babysitter. It was a small town and I would often find that two or three couples would want to go out together and I would end up with all of their children, which I loved. I Graduated from Utah State University in horticulture and family consumer human development, April 2012. I earned my horticultural therapy certification from the Horticultural Therapy Institute through Colorado State University, 2013. Since then I have worked as a manager at a garden center and as a manager at a sporting goods Read more store. I have also started my own business as a Horticultural Therapist. I have also served an eighteen month service mission for my church in Scotland and Ireland. While I was there I was challenged on a daily bases with finding ways to of help people from every walk of life. When I am not working I love to go snow skiing, wakeboarding, dancing, camping, fishing, horseback riding and hiking. I got married 6 months ago and since then my husband has been able to be our sole provider allowing me to quite my full time job and do something that I can find more joy doing. I have always wanted to work with kids and help to bless their lives and I am so excited to find that I am finally in a place in my life that I can make this happen.
