Hello! I am a recent graduate from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. Upon graduation, I chose to move to Ogden, UT to live with my boyfriend, Travis, who works at Hill AFB. While I was attending school, I was an occasional house sitter and pet sitter for two households in Las Cruces. My great aunt and uncle, Anne and Kent, lived nearby, therefore I was the first that they had asked for me to watch their home and pet while they traveled. About three times a year they would go on a trip that would last at least a week, and at the most two weeks. During that time, I would stay each night at the home and care for their 12 year old pet jack Russel-Dachshund mix, Brandy, while I attended work or school during the day. I checked the mail, took out the trash, watered Read more plants, and fed and administered multiple medications to Brandy. Seeing my work, Anne and Kent then referred me to some friends of theirs, Richard and Carol Hendrick, when they had needed their pet and home watched as well. For about two weeks in the summer of 2014 I stayed in their home and watched their poodle, Bailey, and assured the security of their home in absence. As for my babysitting experience, I recently took care of my boyfriend’s 8 year old son, Jackson, for the month of July. I had Jackson Monday-Friday from the time Travis left in the mornings at 5 am to when he returned from work at 3 pm, therefore I was solely responsible for Jackson during this time. I made his breakfasts and lunches, and during our time together we played board games, made crafts, and watched movies (that were age appropriate, of course). I gave Jackson small chores throughout the day such as feeding our dog, Roscoe, and helping me fold the laundry and do the dishes. As for other baby sitting experience, I have been trusted with the care of my 18 month old niece for a few hours at a time or when needed for my brother and sister in law. My various duties included feeding, diaper changes, clothes changes and bathing. Overall, I am experienced with caring for pets and assuring the security of people’s homes and some experience with caring for children. As for training/certifications, I did take a college course titled “Intro to Early Childhood Development” where I have some text book knowledge in working with toddlers and infants. I am more than willing to assist with housework such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping or whatever else you may need. I am available Monday-Friday from 7 am-4 pm
