I am an upbeat, outgoing, kind and dependable 19 year old! I love working in the business of PEOPLE. I have spent most of my life working, caring for and visiting in my free time, special needs children & adults, the elderly and regularly functioning children. I currently work full time at an elementary school in a Severe Special Ed classroom, as well as a Direct Support Professional in a summer program for teens with disabilities. I also have been babysitting since I was 12, to which I have experience with week-long stays, along with just day jobs. Other experience includes operating a personal summer camp from my home, working in a day care during high school and planning age appropriate activities, and personally tutoring a variety of kids in math and English. I have additionally taken classes such as Early Childhood Education, Child Development, and have completed Safety Care Read more training, aimed toward disability teaching, de-escalation, and care. I am great with kids and absolutely love to be around them, I have always had a natural ability to care for them! I also truly believe my experience with special needs makes me much more equipped for caring for regularly functioning kids. CPR & First Aid certified as well!
