I worked with children ages 4 to 17 for three years with Syracuse City. I also babysat three kids for a couple on an as needed basis for about 3 1/2 years. During my employment with the City I gained many important qualities necessary for caring for children of all ages through the numerous events and activities we put on. Including: Summer Kid's Camp, After School Sport's Games, and Holiday Events. I have spent hundreds of hours teaching and working with kids and I have learned how to truly nurture, encourage, and listen to children. When tending the three kids (ages 5, 3, and 6 months at the beginning) I gained so much experience with children and more specifically siblings and how to teach them, help them behave well, and make things fun for them! I have found that truly believing in them and encouraging them to help them understand they are capable humans no matter how small they might feel is one of the most important things to instill at a young age. I just love children so much because they are so persistent and excited and there is so much we get to teach them every day and they have so much head of them in life and it is so beautiful and peaceful to just look at them for who they will become and how amazing they already are! I truly love children and i love to dedicate my full attention to them in order to give them the best experiences! I do not have any social media, so you can know that I will not be scrolling through my phone while the kids run wild. I give my full attention and genuinely want to create good and wholesome home learning experiences. I have also babysat for numerous other families, but that family in particular I was very close with as they truly trusted and loved me.
