I am the oldest of four in my family so I was born into the babysitter role. I became my parents, official nanny and was entrusted to be home alone with my siblings when I was only 12-years-old. At the time my youngest sister was 0, my other sister 4, and my little brother was 8. From a very young age, I was taught by my loving parents that I needed to be responsible, caring, and kind. As I got older the responsibilities increased especially as I become a driver. By the end of my senior year, I would end my school day, go pick up my siblings from two different schools, get them home with an after-school snack, get them dressed and ready for each of their sports. I have done part-time babysitting jobs as well for other families even overnight ones.
