When I was in 6th grade, I would babysit my younger cousins on some weekends. Ever since then, I stuck to it because of my love for children and the learning experiences that follow. My main goal in life is to help people; whether it's doing a little extra around the house before my mom comes home from work, listening to a friend when they are going through a difficult time, or teaching someone new ways of thinking and doing things. I am an 18 year old student who is always trying to make people's lives better. In April of 2015, I was hired to help supervise and take care of a 13 year old special needs boy. I would help entertain and teach him while his parents were at work or busy around the house. I was hired to work with him up until August of 2017. He is Read more my neighbor and I am continuing to work with him (spelling, social skills, counting, etc) everyday without pay. In the summer of 2017, from the end of June to the end of July, I was a nanny in Sydney, Australia for the cutest 5 year old girl. My responsibilities consisted of, but were not limited to: taking and picking her up from school, making sure she was prepared and on time to her extra curricular activities, prepared dinner on the nights her parents had to work late, and do light housework.
