I am lucky enough to be one of 8 children, and as a result have had opportunities to learn how to care for my siblings and large extended family. I have always wanted to be a mother and I have considered every opportunity to look after children a personal preparation for my own family. I spent the summers of my high school years as a regular nanny for three different families with shifts that ran up to 12 hours a day. I prepared activities for the children, made healthy and tasty food, as well as driving them to various activities and arranging for them to play with other children and get outside. I personally believe that children should spend as much time away from screens as possible. Instead, I like to play imaginative games with the children I watch after, read books of various levels (Harry Potter is one I Read more especially enjoy), and generally try to find constructive activities for them. I am currently a student at BYU and chose to take the semester off due to family circumstances that have since resolved themselves and am looking for work until the coming Fall semester of 2017.
