I absolutely love to babysit and am totally willing to do so if I'm available the days you need. I have had countless amounts of experiences with children of all ages. I started babysitting around the age of 12 and I've continued to do so ever since. When I was 12, my 13 year old sister and I held a preschool/summer camp in our home where children would come to learn and participate in fun, educational activities for 2.5 hours, three times a week. We continued to do that for a total of three years. In my sophomore, junior, and senior years of high school I enrolled in the Early Childhood Education class in which I had many roles and responsibilities dealing with children ages 3-4. I received three Career and Technical Education Skill Certificates as well as a Family and Consumer Science Concentrator Award. In my senior year of Read more high school, I was also enrolled in Service Learning/Community of Caring which allowed me to serve as a teacher's aid and tutor for Rosecrest Elementary's three third grade classes for a total of nine months. I aspire to one day work as an elementary school teacher, and I am ready to take that next step that will get me closer and more prepared for my dream job. After high school I became a part-time nanny for two different families. One family had six children between the ages of 1 and 12 and I was with them for three months. The other family had two girls, ages 1 and 8, and I was with them for 11 months. I hope to obtain a position where I can assist and utilize my dedication for the development of children and for supporting their physical, mental, and emotional needs. I am more than happy to do whatever I need to meet any requirements you may have, concerning your child(ren).
