We hired Heather on 2/2019. She did an excellent job at coming up with new activities for the kids every day and kept them safe and healthy. Unfortunately, it looks like it wasn't the best timing. She wasn't able to provide the flexibility we were looking for in a full-time caregiver in spite of the multiple accommodations we made to make it work (including moving the place of care from our house to her house without changing the rate initially agreed upon after the first day, changing our daily routine to prep lunches and outfits and pick up the kids at her house, covering for 1 week of time off after the first week of work, registering our son on a school by her house to which we cannot have him enroll anymore, setting up our summer vacation plans to match hers for which we had to pay a lot more, purchase car seats that would fit in her car, get her CPR certified, etc). She also had several incidents that we had to cover for in such a short timeframe (some planned in advance). After the second/third week of work, she ended up deciding it wasn't going to be a good fit for her (unless it was part-time). We appreciated her willingness to cover until we found another nanny. However, this ended up being quite costly for us and disruptive for our daily routine as well as the stability of our kids.
