I have several years of experience working with children of all ages. I started out volunteering with elementary schools, First 5, and babysitting as a teenager. As an adult, I have worked for several families as a professional nanny and caregiver. I also worked for 3 years as a registered behavior technician working with kids with autism and other disorders in clinical, home and school settings. I have an associates in psychology and am finishing up my bachelor's degree in psychology. In the last few years, I have applied the skills I have learned by teaching study skills and tutoring to students of all ages. Currently, I volunteer part-time with a nonprofit in Los Angeles that provides literary tutoring to elementary school aged kids. In all my work and experience, my biggest focus is on helping individuals I work with feel empowered and supported in their mental and emotional well-being. Yoga, meditation, and practicing regular mindfulness skills helps me find balance in my life and cope with stressors, and I love sharing it with others. I also love games, writing and playing music, dancing, baking, spending time outside and doing anything creative. I have a 3 year old dog who is my life and love, and a nephew (2 years old) I adore!
