I absolutely love kids, and I have a lot of experience taking care of them. Being the oldest in the home and having entrepreneurial parents I learned to run a household at a young age. I have always had a knack for inspiring the imagination and creating a lot of fun no matter what activity is going on (chores, exercise, homework, it's all a game!). As I got older I would take care of the neighbor's/family friends' children, pets, and even homes for extended periods of time. When I turned 18 I became a counsellor for a YMCA Overnight Summer Camp in California charged with the care of a group of 8-14 children ages 9-17 over a continuous period of 10 weeks (taught them to ride horses too!). I worked there for two summers, and during the year I worked for the neighboring Y Camp hosting large weekend groups and Read more teaching 6th Grade Outdoor Education. I am certified with the American Heart Association for First Aid & CPR, including child/infant First Aid & CPR. I moved to Utah a few months ago looking to pursue a degree in Psychology (beginning this fall 2018 semester), and also to take the Impact Trainings (The trainings are to empower the human spirit towards free and harmonious living) here in Salt Lake. Children are the future. They are free, loving, fun, creative, and they have a big life ahead of them. I love babysitting because it provides me with not only the opportunity to learn more about life, but also to serve the future.
