I have been caring for children on and off again for the past 25 years. I have two grown children of my own and have recently relocated to the Accomac area after my husband retired. My last child care position was caring for three children ages 7, 5, and 3. I was with their family for five years and only left because of our desire to relocate. I believe children thrive in an environment where they can feel loved and secure and my role is to foster that while there parents are away. Also children are always learning and exploring, so I feel its vital in the role of caregiver to nurture and promote that natural inquisitiveness, of course always keeping their safety as the primary and paramount concern.
