I am a junior at Old Dominion University double majoring in communications and human services. I love kids and have high hopes of devoting my life to them as a part of Child Protective Services (CPS). I have been working as a babysitter since I was 13 years old and have nannied (on a more permanent basis) for the past 4 years. I have done everything from work lacrosse camps for older kids and even had my own gymnastics classes when I was in high school (for ages 2-12). I also am first aid and CPR certified. Please let me know if you have any questions at all, I would love to answer them!

First time needing child care, first time using this site, and we were canceled on by Taylor an hour before she was due to show up. If her reasons were true then fair play, but something other than a text message would have been better received. Less exposition by text and more personal reach-out would have gone further. Perhaps we dodged a bullet. As is natural for most people, I remain skeptical and recommend future parents be wary.

We hired Taylor to sit awhile ago and I neglected to write a review back then. She was a great babysitter and the kids loved her! She is very personable and is very prompt both in communications with us and in her arrival times. I would highly recommend her to sit and regret that we moved away and can't use her services anymore!

My name is Jenny and I'm the Event & Project Planner for MilSpouses for Airmen (www.MilSpousesforAirmen.bravesites.com). SitterCity.com is highly recognized in the military community, so when I'm in search for caregivers for our events, I trust their background checks and security screenings. This highlights why Taylor's profile stood out to me. She dreams of CPS (Child Protective Services) as a future career path. Her unique skills, experience with various age groups, and understanding of the military child lifestyle suggests that this is an attainable goal for this driven young lady, and admirable career choice as well. During her interview, she addressed our concerns with regard to working with various age groups in small and large group settings, plans for creative activities, and how to respond in the event of an emergency situation. She showed the utmost respect and compliance for our need of privacy and security, knowing which intelligent questions to ask related to MFA procedures - keeping the safety of our children as her top priority. When you first speak with her, you'll notice her radiance of positive energy. It was all I could do to wait for a response from her references in order to offer her a position with us. They describe her as conscientious, selfless, and NEVER late! Her references could not say enough about her loving nature, self-awareness, and natural ability to connect with kids and parents. I felt a sense of security when they dubbed her as a born leader and considered extremely trustworthy. While she slipped through our fingers for our upcoming event, we know she will be at the top of our list for future care service opportunities and hope to work with her soon. We wish her the best with her future endeavors and know that she will be a delight and privilege to work with.
