I am an outgoing and fun-loving person who loves to work with kids. I enjoy how entertained children are by the simplest of things and how imaginative they are. I was a camp counselor this summer and will be next summer at Mount Vernon Rec Center. Being a camp counselor taught me leadership skills, patience, ability to discipline the kids while remaining under control, and how to have fun with them. I will take the skills I learned as a camp counselor to babysit your children. I can think of many creative games that your children would like to play at home. I can read books to them, help them with their homework, play outside with them, and watch tv with them. I can cook simple things for them as well. I won't have my own car till later on in the year so I can only babysit Friday-Sundays but Read more for reasonable and flexible hours. If I am needed to babysit Monday evenings I could too but I prefer Friday-Sundays. I can also take care of any pets if you'd like. I am comfortable working with a bunch of kids thanks to my camp counselor experience. I am CPR and first aid certified as well. I also passed the Red Cross Babysitting course. I am a college student that is currently attending NOVA for these first two years. I have a passion for working with kids because I hope to pursue a teaching job in English, Theatre, or an elementary school. My studies will help me achieve that goal throughout college.
