I interviewed Rosie on the phone, requested a background check and set everything up. She canceled on me 13 hours before she was supposed to babysit for a "last minute job interview." She then suggested I used her mother-in-law as a sitter, even though I had no way of conducting any sort of background check or interview at such a late date. She didn't even call me to tell me she was canceling - she sent a message through sittercity. And yes, she had my phone number. Just a warning. I don't want other moms left in the lurch like I was.

Rosie was very good with my kids and I would certainly use her again!

Rosie, we had set up a date and time to talk on the phone today so that I could see if I wanted to pursue getting more information from you and have you come by the house to meet my husband and my two boys. I called you during the timeframe that I said that I would call you and I left a message since I got your voicemail. Your voicemail said that "This was Rosie" so I know I got the right number. I left my phone number with you and you never called me back or contacted me through Sittercity to explain why you didn't call me back. This was about six hours ago and you have yet to call me. This is a far cry from the "accountability" that you state on your profile. Not a good start at all. I will not be pursuing this sitter any further to fill any of my jobs. Dependability is a very important trait to me!!! For me, it's very simple. Do what you say you are going to do and, if you can't, provide an explanation as to why you couldn't fulfill your obligation but don't just keep someone hanging!!! Huge pet peeve of mine. Mari

Rosie has taken care of my son on several occasions. She is very reliable and communicates well. She is a great fit with my special needs son, who can at times be a little intense some times. She takes his tantrums in stride and does well calming him. She is on my short list of sitters I call when I have a need..

Rosie saved the day! On short notice Rosie watched our 22 month old daughter so we could go to dinner and a movie. Ellie immediately took to Rosie and was entraced by her! Rosie kept her entertained while we slipped out and was then fabulous to send a couple quick updates throughout the night. My daughter just hit the separation anxiety stage, so the updates were REALLY appreciated. I was very relieved to hear Ellie had settled right in with the fabulous Miss Rosie. I also owe Rosie huge because the metro was extremely backed up and delayed getting home. It took us nearly 1 hr 45 minutes to make a trip that was 20 minutes out. We were MUCH later than anticipated, but again, Rosie was extremely considerate and easy going. She is fabulous and wonderful! I've already spread the word to 3 of my friends, and cannot recommend Rosie highly enough. I'd like to be greedy and keep Rosie to myself, but she's just too wonderful. Little ones would surely miss out if they didn't get the chance to meet sweet Miss Rosie.

Rosie took really good care of my two large Akita's. It was so nice to enjoy my vacation knowing that my pets where in good hands.

Rosie is fantastic. She is professional and very knowledgeable about child development. It is obvious that she truly enjoys children, and my girls had the best time when Rosie sat for them. I hope she'll be able to sit for us again soon! Sara

Rosie was great with my 7 year old, he liked her right away. They had a lot of fun and we can't wait to have her back!

Rosie watched my two boys (ages 6 and 8). She is such an easy person with whom to work. Rosie was happy to take my kids bowling, golfing, to the movies and to get ice cream. She took them to the park, as well. Rosie was great about calling and texting to provide me with updates, per my request. She is very calm and pleasant. I enjoyed working with her and my kids really enjoyed "playing" with her.

Rosie agreed to help us on short notice and was very sweet to our kids. Our son could not stop talking about her after she left. She is an absolute angel and I would happily recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter.

Rosie is a great babysitter. My son loves her little girl and always has a great time with them. We use her every other Saturday so that my husband and I can have some time together since he works most weekend. We will continue to use her on the weekends. Rosie was wonderful! She handled our little girl from the tears of our leaving and through the tiredness of the evening while maintaining flexibility to our baby’s needs as well as following our instructions to the letter. We came home to a quiet household with happy pets (she even took care of our pets) and a baby that was fast asleep. We will definitely use her again.

I spoke with Rosie over the phone, and found her to be very easy-going, kind, and professional. Her experience is extensive. I will most definitely consider hiring her in the future.
