I am a third-year college student at the University of Mary Washington and am home in the Lynchburg area for the summer! I am a bubbly, friendly, and outgoing individual with experience working with youth in a variety of settings and a genuine passion for kids. Last summer, I worked as a camp counselor in the mountains of California for children and adolescents aged 7-15 and facilitated activities such as theatre, outdoor games, dance, arts and crafts, fort-building, and more! For me, being a sitter is far more than just a job; it is an opportunity to connect with children, help them learn and grow, and even reconnect with the kid that I still often consider myself to be.
