I am a young DC area professional with over 10 years of babysitting experience to supplement by regular day job. Originally from Tennessee, while in high school, I started babysitting family friends' kids when I wasn't in school, theatre rehearsals, or ballet classes. After graduating from Wake Forest University (where I also babysat several families' children, pet-sat, and tutored at a local elementary school), I moved to New York City to attend an acting/writing program with a theatre company and then gained marketing/event planning experience at a firm in the tech finance industry. Throughout my two years in New York City, I babysat several families (many of whom referred me to their friends). After moving to DC in 2015, I served as a full time nanny for several months, living at the family's home before pursuing a career in international politics here in DC.
