My name is Nia, I am 25 years old and very interested in your job posting. I have experience with children and have been working with the YMCA for 7 years. Before relocating back to Arlington I worked at The Faison Center in Richmond which is a school for children with autism for 8 months. I am a mother of a 4 year old who has a speak impairment. With my skills, I am able to work with many populations of children and am very flexible to the needs of my clients.

Nia is great to work with. She is punctual, kind, and unflappable. She has taken wonderful care of my two girls (ages 1 & 3) through dinner and bedtime routines on multiple occasions. She always responds to messages within about a day when I reach out to her. I look forward to our next opportunity to schedule with Nia!

I LOVE Nia! She is an amazing person and babysitter. She is calm and confident with my kids. I know they are in good hands when I leave. I have four and they can get hyper sometimes! She has a warm and charming demeanor. She is punctual, accountable and responsive when communicating to set up babysitting. I definitely would recommend her for any parent!

I had plans with a babysitter that fell through just an hour and a half before I was scheduled to leave. In a panic I reached out to Nia who, thankfully, happened to be available. She was friendly, prompt, professional, and my son loved her. She was even a dream with my rather large dog. Would absolutely recommend her and will be reaching out to her again for my babysitting needs!

Nia and I worked together for four weeks: three were full-time care, one part-time (my child went to summer camp). She was truly a huge help to my day-to-day routine and provided excellent care to my son. Nia is responsive: she was available to discuss questions or concerns throughout the day and even in evenings. Nia is punctual: she arrived on time, every time, every day. I could rely on her to be there when I needed her. Nia is flexible: I asked, on several occasions, if she could stay late an extra hour or two, and she was flexible in her schedule to adjust. There were certainly times where she couldn't make it happen - but to no fault of her own; she has a life too! She would also take my son to summer camp in the mornings. Nia is attentive: I asked her to help with basic things around the apartment while she was caring for my son; she would put together basic meals, run laundry, vacuum, and pick up packages as needed. She also got on the floor and played games with my son and made sure he was doing his homework each day. I recommend working with Nia if you value your time; she can take a lot of things off your plate in supporting your household, giving you time and energy to focus on things that matter: getting home each day and being present for your child.

Our kids loved Nia. We needed a sitter at the last minute and needed to find someone new in hurry. Nia responded right away to our job posting and was readily available to speak over the phone. Our kids had a great time with her and we felt confident that they were in good hands!

Dear All, Nia is a wonderful person and sitter. She is reliable and on time. We will ask her to sit for our family in the future. :0)

Nia is a wonderful caregiver and we feel so lucky to have found her. It is our first experience having a babysitter for our son (and using Sittercity) and we really lucked out. Nia is thoughtful, patient, kind, punctual, and flexible. Our son lights up when he sees her and it's a weight off of our shoulders knowing that he is in good hands. Although we haven't been with Nia for long, we hope she will stay a part of our son's life for a long time!
