I first gained experience caring for children when I was 10 years old, watching my brother who is 5 years my junior. Since then, I continued to care for family and friends' children until I left for college. Since I started college in 2008, I worked primarily in retail but continued to offer childcare and babysitting services for family and friends whenever I was available. For my college work - study position from 2009-2011, I worked for the Center for Community Service acting as the lead for an after-school program of about 10-20 kids, which focused on providing a soccer league and homework help for inner-city school students.
