Hi! I’m Amy, a 26-year-old qualified and patient caregiver. I'm a certified ESL teacher who is looking for extra work between now and the next assignment. I love working with children of all ages, so much that I spent the past year as an au pair (live-in nanny) in sunny Sydney, Australia. Prior to that, I watched my newborn niece full-time outside of Washington D.C. My biggest love is teaching and helping children learn, and working as an ESL instructor in South Korea (before coming back stateside for my niece's birth) was beyond rewarding. I nannied in Chicago all throughout college, and St. Louis prior to relocating to Korea. I've worked with children who have a variety of dispositions, as well as parents who have a spectrum of parenting styles. I'm adaptable, interactive, and happy to acclimate to any rules of your home. I prefer to be active and outdoors with the children whenever possible. In the past I've had a positive experience taking the children around the city wherever the family allows (via walking, driving, or public transit). I also understand the importance of routine and structure, and will adhere to the schedule your children follow.
