Hi, My name is Sarah Owens. I have experience with children. I have a six year old niece that I have been babysitting and helping with since she was born. I love children; I always have. I have been babysitting since I was fifteen and my previous jobs have delt with chrildren. I started working at the YMCA in Millington, TN when I turned sixteen. I worked as a youth fitness instructor, which I was resopnsible for children from the ages of six through twelve years old. As a youth fitness instructor I would have to come up with activities, games, and things that pertained to fitness while their parents were working out. As well as in the Nursery, which I was also responsible for children from the ages of new born to five years old. When I worked in there we did not change diapers even though I knew Read more how to it was against policy; but we would feed, play, and do activites with them. During the summer when the  "youth station" was closed and they did not need me in the Nursery during the day I would babysit. I was privileged to do that until I turned eighteen. Each family I had the pleasure of working for had three to four children I would watch.  One family I only got the privilege for one summer because the children went to school starting fall and the next summer they could not hire me because of finical reasons. They had two boys, two girls; that varied from the age of seven to thirteen, and two dogs. The other family I had the opportunity of babysitting had two girls, one boy; that was also between the ages of six and fourteen, they as well had two dogs and two tanks of sea water fishes. Once I turned eighteen, I graduated Hight School in May of 2011 and moved to Nashville to attend an Art school. I was only able to attend there a semester because of finical reasons. I moved back home to attend Concorde Career College as a Dental Assistant. While I was attending Concorde I would watch my little cousin that was less then a year old. Once I was given the opportunity to do my extern hours in a Pediatric Dental Office in Germantown, TN I was not able to babysit that often. Not long after I had started externing I was given the opportunity to be apart of their dental family; I accepted. I graduated Concorde in 2012, and have been with Pediatric Dental Group since.
