My name is Morgan Longo. I am a Dominion High School graduate and I currently attend Virginia Tech majoring in Finance. I’ve had a passion for teaching and working with kids my whole life. I started babysitting at age 11, and began running my own summer camp when I turned 13. I ran the camp in my basement by setting up a schoolroom-like environment. I organized activities, provided snacks, and led reading and other educational instruction. This past summer, I was a full time nanny for two kids, ages 9 and 11, and I got to experience working with a 9-year-old boy who had an anxiety disorder. I was also strongly involved in Future Educator’s of America throughout high school, where I got the chance to work as a teacher’s aid in an elementary class before my classes started.
