I volunteered for a year as a patient transporter at Delray Beach hospital in Florida where it was my job to safely transport patients to their vehicles after being discharged from the hospital. I’ve also worked hundreds of hours with children at the SOS children’s village in south Florida by spending time with them, organizing fun activities and events such as a Valentine’s Day fun day, and have started fundraisers for them for essentials for school and other necessities as well as gifts during the holidays. I am currently a student halfway through with my bachelors degree in Anthropology, so I love learning about new people and their cultures, and am understanding of everyone’s needs. I am also a member of MENSA, so I tend to learn quickly and solve problems easily. I am applying for this job because I love helping people.
