My name is Lisha Barnes, I am 40 years old and live in Chase City Va... I was employed with Mcps for 13 years.In that time I worked with all age groups k through 12. I began to work with special education within my 3rd year there..it was there I found my passion. I also worked in a adult Daycare for mentally challenged and intellectually disabled individuals...I worked also as a counselor for young adults who had mental illnesses.I have degrees In psychology as well as education..but none of which are important..because when it comes to helping others I have a natural nac.I have two children of my own whom are ages 15 and 2...so patience is something I am very well equipped with.as a mother I lost more than one pregnancy...which I was told that I would never have children and that if I did that they would be Read more disabled because of the length of time that they would be carried..I guess that is why I have such patience and passion for being a nurturer.
