My name is Deserai, I am 27 years old and separated from the Navy in June of 2013. My husband and I have a 5 1/2 year old and a 9 month old, so I have plenty of experience in all stages. I love playing, teaching and watching children grow. I am currently attending Saint Leo University with a few semesters left to obtain my Bachelor's in Psychology. I also have my Associates in Social Sciences I received in May of 2015 from Tidewater Community College. I am offering the care in my home as I have to look after my children as well however, I will obey the rules and guidelines you have with your children, along with any other calendar schedules you would like me to abide by. We are a dog friendly home, we have two but they know how to act when they are around the Read more kiddos. I also would love to even work on little projects with your child(ren), as for I have fun with them as well and outdoor activities are also something that I very much enjoy. I also have my ADULT AND PEDIATRIC CPR/AED AND FIRST AID CERTIFICATION as for I know that it is very crucial to have that as being a babysitter/nanny/. Deserai has been watching my kids for a few months now and every time she has been on time or early, reliable and my kids love her. She even picked up my oldest from the school bus while I went to an appointment. I love knowing that while I'm out, my kids are in good hands!

This was my first time using SitterCity to find a babysitter, and I could not have been more pleased with my experience working with Deserai. I could tell from our initial phone conversation that she was hardworking, sincere, diligent, and trustworthy. That was absolutely the case. She was down on the floor playing with my 14mo, reading her books, and wearing her out to the point that she took a two-hour morning nap (usually it's only one hour). I came home to find a well-rested baby AND a spotlessly clean kitchen. Deserei took the initiative to use the baby's nap time to tidy up our entire downstairs (!). I hesitate to share that because I don't want anyone expecting her to clean for them too, but I was just so impressed with her diligence. So grateful to have found this wonderful sitter and can't wait to have her back to help out. She felt like a true extension of the family.

Deserai is an awesome babysitter. She didn't have to but went out of her way to get some toys for our daughter before we got there. Our daughter was really clingy and didn't want us to leave her but Deserai reassured us that she would be fine. We hadn't even traveled a mile when we got a message that said our daughter was just fine. It was a late night for us and we appreciate her watching our 2 until 2 am. Definitely would give her a call again.
