I am an energetic individual with a true passion for children. I have multiple experiences caring for children. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and am currently a registered nurse (RN-BSN) in the state of Missouri. I am a military spouse but will be stationed in the Hampton Roads area for the next several years. My current position as a full-time nanny will be ending with the school year in early June and I am looking for a position assisting a loving family. I began babysitting as a young teenager. I provided summer child care for two families, including two summers of care for a special needs child. I have cared for children ranging from newborn to preteen, as well as twins and those with special needs and allergies. In addition, I previously was employed at a boys and girls club in which I provided a safe and Read more fun-learning environment for kindergartners. I have many volunteer experiences as well with children, ranging from teaching Bible school and children' s choir at my hometown church to volunteering in a reading room at an elementary school. I love finding ways to help children learn through play. I truly believe that each day should be something to discover. I look forward to playing and learning with your child! Most recently I was a full-time nanny for a military family and cared for their infant daughter. I provided infant care as well as assisted in social and linguistic development and integrated play activities to encourage her to reach developmental milestones. I provided a safe environment for exploratory play and sensory integration. In addition, I assisted in light housekeeping and cared for the family pets while in the home. Previously I was a full-time nanny for a dual military family and cared for three children, ages 9, 5 and 2. My duties entailed waking children in the morning, preparing them for school, preparing and feeding meals, carpooling, helping with homework and engaging the children in fun and educational experiences throughout the day while maintaining continuity of expectations between the parents and myself. In addition, I preformed light housekeeping, ran occasional errands, and kept up on laundry. I have built wonderful relationships with the families that I have worked for and look forward to finding another family to provide safe, loving, and educational care for!
