I used to work as a sitter for up to 20 hours per week watching a young boy with special needs named Fletcher. I cared for him while his mother and father were at work for up to a total of six hours per day. I was first employed when he was 18 months old and continued babysitting until he turned four years old. Most weeks I watched him two days per week, but when needed I was available up to four days or nights. The family in which I was employed by were friends of my family and my prior training had been within my own family. I have two younger brothers I was responsible for looking after. My mother is a single mom and I have been looking after children younger than me for as long as I can remember.
