My husband and I have adopted 13 children and have 1 biological 38 year old. We were foster parents of over 50 children over about a 15 to 20 year period. I love caring for children and making a difference in their lives. I worked outside the home for years and then found my niche in life. Some people are born to be Drs or ministers but I was born to care of children. I am gifted at multi tasking. I have cared for children that were very ill and some that were healthy but had emotional needs. I feel that choosing a provider for your child or children is one of the most important things that you will ever do. I treat those I care for like I would want my own treated. I always want the child to grow up and have a good memory of my home. Read more I want the parents to be able to go to work and not have worries about how their child or children are being cared for. I love teaching little toddlers their numbers and colors, etc. I enjoy getting down and playing with the kids. Yes, I can be a kid to when needed. My grandson always loves coming over because I spend so much one on one time with him. I prefer doing child care in my own home.
