I began babysitting and nannying and caring for the elderly regularly from the age of 12. I continued providing this service even through my first pregnancy. As I have reared twins and their close-in-age sibling, I would know what it is like to raise triplets, change many diapers, do loads of laundry, and make meals. I have continued to babysit/nanny off and on since having children of my own. The children and parents always ask me to come back. And when I run into clients and their children, they run to me and give me big hugs and ask when I can come over and babysit/nanny again. I think the children like that I can be silly and fun and that the parents like that I know when and how use fun and silliness in order to promote learning.
