Hello, my name is Sara! I'm a rising junior at the University of Pittsburgh, and I live in Fairfax, VA. From my four year experience as a swim coach of toddlers to my position as a regular babysitter for multiple families, I believe that I have what it takes to provide the ideal care for children of all ages. In addition to coaching swim, I also coached my neighborhood dive team as well, teaching kids, ranging from ages four to eighteen, how to conquer their fears and do their best on the diving board. I taught my little swimmers how to not only stay afloat, but how to do freestyle and backstroke as well. At Pitt, I'm majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Chemistry and Creative Writing, in hopes of one day becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I have a while to go, but hopefully I can achieve my Read more dream! Anyways, I would love to help out the kids with their homework and their studies if needed! The past two years in Pittsburgh, I was lucky enough to volunteer in the nearby hospital, known as UPMC. I was assigned to the Medicine and Cardiology Units, where I gained experience with satisfying the needs of patients and families, ranging from thirst, hunger, to entertaining them or even giving them someone to talk to. On another note, I've also done a few years of pet-sitting, so if you all have a pet, taking care of him/her as well would be no problem at all!
