Hello there! My name is Lorraine. When I was still in the Philippines I took care of my nephew from the day after he was born up to when he was 5 months old. My sister had eclampsia during childbirth then went straight to the ICU after giving birth that's why I was tasked to take care of my nephew. I loved taking care of him and loved every minute spent with him. I took up a Caregiver's course in the Philippines that's why I was very confident with myself that I could do the job of taking care of my nephew. When I came here in the US, I was also able to babysat a friend's 2 year old son during the weekdays. I babysat him for a few months. I was offered the temporary job which I gladly accepted. After that I met a man and got married Read more to him in 2010. He's an american. We've been married for 5 years now. Currently, I work as a Public Health Assistant for Falls Church High School. I assist special education teachers with the daily care of students with learning and physical disabilites. I help students with their schoolwork. I also help some students with toileting. During lunch time, I feed students that are assigned to me. I love working with the kids. I am looking for a job this summer since school is going to be out. I can also work this coming spring break, March 21-25.
