I am the third out of four girls raised by a single mother who worked 2-3 jobs. There were many nights i had to babysit my younger sister, providing dinner, homework help and keeping her out of trouble. In addition i have also babysat a friends nephew a few times over the years, providing entertainment and supervision while outside and inside. I was a night babysitter for a 14 year old girl whose mother worked late in D.C. I provided dinner and homework help. I love kids and find that their energy and honesty are always refreshing. I'm very patient having worked in a bakery where many kids ranging in ages from 4+ come in and order (lots of things to choose from so it takes quite a bit) while their parents are watching close by. I am more comfortable with children ages 5+ at least by myself. If one Read more parent is going to be there and just needs a little reprieve i'm willing to watch the younger kids.
