I absolutely adore children and continue to be amazed by them. Their honesty and sincerity is often a testimony and an encouragement to me. I have and have had fifteen nieces and nephews, some no longer with us. I'm a passionate educator, encourager and equipper successfully having inspired and guided pre-k students to college age students of many nationalities and ethnicities to behave, collaborate, achieve academic goals and demonstrate superior behavioral traits. I have been trusted by students and parents alike, seemingly never having given them any reason to doubt my proficiency, subject expertise, genuineness and concern for each students' welfare. Having been a previously certified Florida teacher 2009-2013, yet having taught internationally, I have a developed a heart and passion for teaching effectively and caring for students. I’ve never been late, nor have I had to leave early from a class for personal reasons. I’ve never even taken a Read more leave of absence. I get along well with colleagues and have a warm and friendly personality. One of my greatest teaching attributes, relative to my student interaction protocol, is that I'm extremely patient and kind, while joyfully and entertaingly drawing the necessary and required diligence out of students. Further, I have lived, worked and adjusted to life in Mexico, Brazil, Taiwan R.O.C and Colombia, for lengthy periods of time. I have spoken, translated and used quite proficiently the Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese languages for 10 years. I'm conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese with about a four thousand word vocabulary and am still currently able to read an estimated 2,000 Traditional characters. I’m a native speaker of English and translate to and from English and other languages, diligently and painstakingly attempting to preserve both style and content.
