I'm 36 years old and I live in Front Royal. I've been a nanny/household manger for over 19 years. I am looking for a caring family to be a part of. I provide over night care while parents travel. I'm open to different types of positions as in full time, or just overnight care, or part time. I am certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR as well as First Aid. I also have my CNA! As well as being a nanny, I have also worked at a cleaning service for three years. I have worked with children from 1-week-old to 18 years of age. I have a lot of experience with twins, running large households, multitasking, organizing, and being a personal assistant. I have a good driving record and I have driven children around for all of my nanny positions. I am a very dependable person, and it is my Read more duty as a nanny to be there for the family when they need me. I love to keep kids active and engaged, through arts and crafts and creative projects. On a daily basis I also try to keep kids engaged by planning play dates, swim lessons, story time, outdoor activities, and explore new things. I enjoy preparing healthy lunches, because a healthy body is just as important as a healthy mind! Most of the families that I have worked for love me because I am a person that will go above and beyond to make your house-hold run smoother and more efficiently, leaving a stress free environment when you return home from work. I would definitely refer to myself as an organizer. In my opinion, children should have a routine so they know what to expect and what is expected of them. One of my priorities when educating children, is manners. I believe in having a very open line of communication with parents. I have a great resume and references as well that can be provided upon request. Commuting to work is not a problem for me. Not only do I have experience but I have passion! I love being a role model for children and really being there for them when they need me. I've always had a soft spot for children because I'm a kid at heart myself. There's no greater feeling than getting down to a child's level and showing them I'm not only their nanny, but their best friend. I do have two children of my own.
