I have cared for children most of my life. I started early in life helping out with my younger brother who has special needs, I have continued to be a part of his treatment and care until I moved out and had children of my own. I worked for three years doing life skills with children with special needs. After the birth of my youngest daughter I stayed home for four years doing in home daycare. When I decided to return to work, I started in the public school system as a teacher's aide, but was shortly offered a job as a preschool teacher at a local daycare. I loved this job, however a year ago my husband and I relocated to Richmond VA. Where I worked for two years at a small private school teaching first Grade and Kindergarten. I like to get messy, play hard, and make memories. I love children, I love being around them, teaching them and watching them grow. Seeing life through the eyes of a child is one of life's greatest blessings. They are our future! This summer we have spent many weekends at on Gwynn's Island camping. We love the water and the Mathews area. We are moving to the Mathews Area, this year I will also be starting homeschooling with my three children.
