I have been working in childcare since the age of 13. I have taught Sunday School classes for children ages 1-10, have been a cheerleading coach for young aged children, babysat and also worked in 3 daycare settings. I am CPR/ First Aid trained as well as have taken classes in early childhood education. I am passionate in working with infants in particular because they require much attention, as well as are delicate children that grow so quickly and it is amazing to watch them learn new things. I love children in general, this is why I am pursuing a career in teaching and in the future opening up my own daycare. I am a sophomore elementary education major at Hampton University. Whenever I am surrounded by children we have an automatic connection and our time together is always sad when we depart.
