I am 23 years old and a graduate from VCU. I've been babysitting for 8+ years and have worked at a daycare, so I have experience with multiple children at a time. I love kids and am excited to have my own some day, for now I express that love by babysitting! I will love your kids like my own and do everything I can to help them succeed in everything they do. I am a big believer in developing true, positive, loving relationships with kids. (3 of my favorite people in the world are under 8 years old, and I got the chance to know and love them, and watch them grow because of this website) I am First Aid/CPR/AED certified for children and adults through the American Red Cross. Although I haven't spent very much time babysitting children with special needs, I would love to learn how to Read more best care for them! I am going to school to eventually become an Occupational Therapist and my dream is to work with children! My availability varies right now because I currently work in a physical therapy clinic as an aide! I'm looking for something regular that I can work that job around! I have my own reliable transportation and I am comfortable with multiple children in the car!

I really cannot even tell you how wonderful Jordan has been for our family. She is a conscientious, mature, compassionate, and very responsible young lady who treats my children like her own. Working full-time and having young kids is a challenge, and Jordan makes life so much easier by giving me the piece of mind that when I'm away, my kids are cared for - and not just watched, but engaged, challenged, and most of all, loved. My two year old doesn't speak as much as other kids his age, but she taught him a handful of words and with gentle couching brought his language skills almost up to his peer group (so much better than daycare!) and when they're not learning my son loves to sleep in her arms for naps. My daughter told me she wants "Ms. Jordan to be her babysitter and not go to school". Whether you need an occasional sitter or full-time help, she is really the best!!!
