I first started off as a in home care giver for a company called Creative solutions in 2004 or 05. I worked with both adults and children with special needs in-home and in the community. Teaching them day to day routines (Washing clothes, cleaning home, purchasing items from stores, etc.) In 2006 then began to work in Manasass at The Matthews Center for Visual Leaning. There I worked with children with Autism. my training there was some sign language, behavioral problem solving, and the proper way to restrain if necessary. I have also worked at King George co. public schools in the classroom with children ages 3-5 assisting classroom teacher with scheduled activities and potty training.
