Hello! My name is Tara and I am a registered nurse. I attended James Madison University where I received my bachelor of science in nursing in 2016. While in college I worked at a children's sleep away summer camp as a counselor and medical assistant, and worked as a nanny (summer 2013) for a 12 year old girl. In nursing school I had experience working with children in the hospital, as well as with children who were healthy. I am comfortable with all children, including disabilities, chronic and acute illnesses. After graduation I worked in the adult Intensive Care Unit at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC. I then moved to the Charleston, SC area for my husband's job, and worked in interventional pain management. We will be moving to the Lake Stevens area of Washington in mid October. While I am waiting for my nursing license to Read more transfer/find another job I would love to work part-time with a family, and could even potentially continue my care after I have found a nursing job. I can also be an occasional/short notice babysitter for when those last minute things pop up where care is needed for children. I hold certifications in Basic Life Support (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
