I am currently teaching at a private preschool and am available for early evening (6pm) and later care I am a Preschool teacher with lots of experience working with young children. I have worked with children ages 6 wks to 4 years old, with class sizes ranging from 6- 15, so I am use to hectic children filled environments. I am a huge advocate for reading to young children and love to do small fun science experiments and crafts to engage children with learning and using their senses. I love animals and enjoy playing outside as well. I have experience working with children with developmental delays and learning disabilities including ASD, ADD, and language delays, and hearing impairment. I have watched over many children of family and friends. Most notably, consistently sitting for two boys both from birth, with a age gap of 1 year, until the youngest was 5. Read more I am CPR/AED/BBP and MAT certified and have a list of current trainings on early childhood education best practices. You can be assured that your child will not just sit at home and watch tv and that I will do my best to entertain and engage them every day. I was also a tutor all throughout high school and would be able to help older children with homework, especially math and science.
