Hi. My name is Christi Southworth and I am 28 years old. I have baby-sat since I was 12. I have baby-sat for numerous families and can supply references if needed. In addition to baby-sitting, I have worked at a childcare center for 4 years from 2007-2011. I was a lead teacher in the afternoons for the 2 year old class. I assisted with planning activities, potty trained, etc. I have also been a nanny for a 6 year old boy while his parents worked out of town for several days on end. In addition , I just finished school for elementary education. I did my student teaching from this January to March and am waiting to take the final state tests to get my licensure. I am CPR and first aid certified. I currently work at the Girl Scouts as an outreach program provider. I provide girls in inner Read more cities with life skills and resources to use throughout their life. Sadly, my job will be ending on June 1st as the council is making changes to job descriptions and my job is moving to a new department. I have always enjoyed working with children and I love doing activities from painting, reading, watching movies, outside play, etc.
