Hi! My name is Michaela Jourdan M. I am a full time student during the fall and spring at Hampton University. I am majoring in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Military History and leadership. I have lived in Newport news for most of my life and I know the area of Hampton roads fairly well. My hobbies include running and when I'm not with my friends, working, or at church then you can normally find me at the library. At my church I work for the kids ministry in the toddler class every few Sundays on a rotation. I also work in the nursery during night services and accompany the ministry on Summer and Spring Break trips to help out with the older kids, kindergarten to fifth grade. I am not ready to have children of my own and for now until I have my own, enjoy the Read more company of children of all ages. I also babysit and dog-sit for families in my church, and have been a part-time, unpaid "nanny" for my youngest sister since she was born haha. As soon I was out of school and even during the school year I am taking her to dentist appointments, picking her up from school activities, and taking her to her own middle school-high school age church functions. Watching children forces me to be creative when other aspects of my life may not ask the same. And I love that. I am very attentive, patient, and reliable. Being a runner, I know the best way to burn out energy is being active. I am a strong advocate of going to the park and letting them run it out. But I'm also all for some time on the couch eating snacks, as well as bedtime. What adult doesn't love bed time? I currently take a class Tuesdays and Thursdays (my summer schooo schedule)
