My name is Kathryn Cody I am a 20 year old Elementary Education major at Shepherd University. For the past three summers I have worked with children in different summer camp programs. I spent my last two summer working at the Loudoun County Adaptive Recreation camp, the summers prior to that I worked at a Karate School in Leesburg VA in a verity of camps available. Being a college student it is hard to find constant work during the school year, but I was able to have the privilege this year to watch a young 8 year old girl once a week. This girl was one of the campers at the Adaptive Rec camp that I worked at for two years and her mother asked me to continue working with her after the camp was over. I am very outgoing; I love to be outside especially in the summer time. Read more It is important to me that children have the opportunity to be outside and use their imagination as much as possible, I believe it helps them develop and grow to be smart young children. I have my own reliable transportation, traveling is not an issue for me. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
