I've raised 3 kids of my own and cared for many children through the years. Also, we have always had family pets, so treating them like the family members they are is something included in any care-giving role. I enjoy reading, puzzles & games, both real and make believe, as imagination is key. I enjoy going to local museums. libraries, pools and parks, to include dog parks. Infants find that I have a gentle, caring and warm demeanor. I bond with them quickly to ensure they feel safe in my care. Preschool and elementary school aged children find me fun, energetic and with a calm demeanor. I will help with any homework or projects, play board games, do puzzles and arts and crafts and always encourage fun activities. I can prepare breakfast, lunch, as well as help prepare dinner for the family before I departed. I enjoy cooking and include Read more the kids whenever possible so they see how easy and fun it can be. Keeping the kids engaged is key through outdoor and indoor activities. Taking them to activities and events is never a problem as well. Keeping the home tidy, running errands and doing light laundry is certainly something I'm happy to do. I have my own car and can fit 3 car seats if ever needed. Caring for any child is very special.
